Most of my entries are private so I'm going to do some public/friends only ones since I've decided to actually add people on here...
Everything has been good. Slow, but good. My life is in a sort of limbo since I just got out of school (Finally have my diploma! Yay!), I'm having a really hard time finding any sort of work, and I don't start the dental assisting program at Orlando Tech until August. The first couple of weeks out of school I took full advantage of being able to stay out longer and sleep past 8. That definitely got boring though. I'm used to a routine. I decided to try some new things that I've always wanted to do while I have time right now and money from graduation to do it. I wanted to start working out again and part of the reason I stopped, aside from being lazy, is because I hated my gym. I actually hate gym environments period. I dropped my boring ass gym contract at the beginning of this year and I've been wanting to do something different. I started exploring my more interesting (and more fun..) options. I went to my first yoga class two weeks ago at a place called College Park Yoga and I LOVED it. The class is called 'Community Yoga' and it's a beginner's class where we do a type of 12-pose yoga called 'sun salutation'. It's on Sat. mornings at 9 a.m. for $5, which from researching a lot of other yoga places in the general Orlando area is really good price. It's rather small, 30 or less people and a great environment. After I got out of the class I felt amazing. I wish I could afford the $55/month for the beginner's classes or the $110/month for unlimited yoga classes there but I definitely can't and won't be able to for a while. I missed yoga this last Saturday, which really sucks, but I am definitely going this weekend. I also used to run every morning last year, really early, for 45 minutes to an hour or so but I quit doing that once I started dating Andrew. I just bought a new pair of running shoes, which conveniently are really comfortable and I've ended up wearing everywhere, and I started that up again too. The last week I've been really sore but I like it, haha. My favorite part of working out is not only the relaxation affect I get afterwards or seeing results but feeling them.
There are so many other things I want to do that I've lost touch with/forgotten about because I had my focus on other things. It's nice to think about myself and what I'm interested in/want for a change. I want to take this mosaics class at SCC that Justine showed me a very long time ago, as well as take a cake decorating class. I have always loved to bake and have been trying a lot of new recipes/baking a lot more, which is always fun and I would love to continue expanding on that. I want to try a pilates class since it is similar to yoga and I think I would enjoy it.
Everything with Andrew is going great. It'll be 7 months that we've been dating on Feb. 15th. I can't believe it's been that long. I'm used to being in a long-term relationship since my last one was 4 years, but it feels like only a month has gone by...crazy. We're not doing anything amazing or special for Valentine's Day. We're both sort of broke and I'm just not really that into it this year anyway. It's overrated to say that V-day is overrated, but it really is. I did, however, go to Fairvilla and get some cute stuff that I was supposed to break out on Valentine's Day but somehow worked it's way into my plans last night...haha. I'm bad.
On Saturday I went fishing at Cape Canaveral with Andrew and his uncle. It was ok...I love the beach so it was nice to get out and do something different, but it sucked because I had only had two hours sleep the night before and I had a massive headache all day.
Today I just relaxed and got a fill/pedicure. My toes are hot pink and my fill looks great. I love this new place I'm going to, and the $5 for an extra 20 minutes of massage was completely worth it. I wish I could get a pedicure every 3 weeks and I wish some sort of job-miracle will come my way.
Tomorrow I'll be going out to Cape Canaveral again except this time with Tim's boat, Andrew and his mom/brother. I hope it'll be fun and I hope I'll catch my first fish.
I'm really looking forward to the strawberry festival on March 1st! I can't wait to see Taylor Swift in concert. I've always wanted to go but haven't yet. It's my birthday present, along with dinner, from Andrew.
I'm currently obsessed with The United States of Tara, Lipstick Jungle, and playing go fish with Andrew.
My life sounds boring, I know..haha.
